Q-MAC offers a full range of accessories to complement the VHF-90M transceiver.
Secure Modes
The VHF-90M Secure Modes option is an integral module within the VHF-90M transceiver. This option includes Frequency Hopping, Encryption and Free Channel Search (FCS), providing tactical users with secure, jam-resistant VHF communications to a military standard.
Q-MAC's VHF-90M Secure Modes option is available as a field upgrade or as a factory fitted option.
Features include:
- 100 hops per second
- 6.4MHz bandwidth
- Pseudo-random hopping sequence
Programming Software
The QM1007M VHF-90M Programming Package is a Microsoft Windows compatible (Windows 2000 or XP required) software package which allows the programming of the following functions:
- channel/frequency programming
- power output setting
- field programming enable
- selcall ID number
- selcall and scanning on specific channels/frequencies
Handsets
The QM4717 VHF-90M telephone handset is a military grade handset with military-specification connector, speaker, microphone and Press-To-Talk (PTT) button. The handset also features a numeric keypad for use with advanced software features such as Selcall, Groupcall, key entry and front panel programming.
The QM4716 VHF-90M telephone handset is a military grade handset with military-specification connector, speaker, microphone and Press-To-Talk (PTT) button. It is suitable for use with the VHF-90M transceiver.
Headsets
The QM4744 headset features a military-specification connector, speaker, microphone on a gooseneck and Press-To-Talk (PTT) button. It is suitable for use with the VHF-90M transceiver.
The QM4743 headset is a light weight, tactical headset suited to under helmet mounting. The headset features a military-specification connector, speaker, microphone on a gooseneck and clip on Press-To-Talk (PTT) button. It is suitable for use with the VHF-90M transceiver.
Chargers
Q-MAC’s QM8725M VHF-90M intelligent charge controller charges two 2.4Ah Nickel Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries either individually or simultaneously. The unit is designed for use with an AC mains adaptor cable or with a vehicle DC cable, and accepts AC or DC inputs from 10-30V.
The Fold-Up Solar Panel Charger comprises five solar panels, which fold into a compact canvas pouch. The unit is 10.8W power rated and is supplied with extension cable and connectors.
The Hand Crank Generator is a light weight, yet robust unit. It is built from high impact material to meet military standard 810. The generator features an output voltage of between 13.8-16.2V and an output current of between 1.15-1.35A. It is supplied with a tripod, canvas bag and tree-mount with strap.
Antennas
The QM7307 Short Rubber Whip Antenna is suitable for use in close range, Squad level communications (600mm).
The QM7303 is a high efficiency, collapsible eight-section whip antenna, as supplied as an option for the VHF-90M Manportable Package. The extended length is 3m and collapsed length is 390mm.
The QM7305 Tape Whip Antenna is a 1.1m flexible whip antenna supplied with gooseneck, as supplied with the MX9700 VHF-90M Manportable Package. It is suited for use in jungle or forestry areas.
The Q-MAC QM7171M Vehicle Whip Antenna System includes a two-section whip antenna and a US/NATO standard antenna base with BNC connector. The total antenna length is 2.72m.
The QM7702M discone antenna is designed for based station or tactical field base station use. Its flexible design and omni-directional characteristic make it suitable for short to medium range voice and data communications. Its broadband design makes it compatible with Frequency Hopping.
