The VHF-90M Low Band VHF transceiver when combined with Q-MAC’s Secure Modes option provides tactical users with secure, jam-resistant VHF communications to a military standard. The synchronization scheme for Frequency Hopping is completely independent from any infrastructure, such as GPS satellites, which may be controlled by foreign governments or disabled by selective availability.
With the addition of the Secure Modes option, Q-MAC’s VHF-90M transceiver offers four modes of voice communication and three modes of data communication. This range allows operators to adapt to the required conditions and sensitivity of information being transferred:
