Q-MAC offers a full range of accessories to complement the HF-90M transceiver range.

Secure Modes

The HF-90M Frequency Hopping Option is an integral module within the HF-90M Transceiver. This option enables secure, jam-resistant HF communications to a military standard. Q-MAC offers Frequency Hopping as a factory fitted option or as a field upgrade.

Features include:

5 hops per second
256 kHz bandwidth (1 kHz spacing)
25 second synchronization time (average)
Pseudo-random hopping sequence

DSP Noise Reduction Speaker

Q-MAC’s External Mount Speaker with DSP Noise Reduction (QM4024) incorporates digital signal processing (DSP) technology to remove unwanted background noise from speech.

Programming Software

The QM1002 HF-90M Programming Package is an IBM compatible software package that allows programming of the following functions:

Standard Model HF-90M:

channel/frequency programming
USB/LSB mode toggle enable/disable
power output setting
auto-tune enable/disable

Advanced Model HF-90M:

field programming
enable selcall ID number
selcall and scanning on specific channels/frequencies

Handsets

Q-MAC offers a range of handsets to suit your requirements.

The QM4011 telephone handset is a commercial grade, non-DTMF handset complete with PTT. It is suitable for use with standard model.
The QM4013 telephone handset is a commercial grade handset complete with a DTMF keypad and PTT. When used with advanced model HF-90 transceivers, the QM4013 handset enables access to advanced software features such as selcall, beacon call, frequency hopping and front panel programming.
The QM4012 telephone handset is a military grade, non-DTMF handset. The QM4012 features a commercial connector and is suitable for use with the standard model HF-90M transceiver.
The QM4015 telephone handset is a military grade handset complete with commercial connector and a DTMF keypad. When used with advanced model HF-90 transceivers, the QM4015 handset enables access to advanced software features such as selcall, beacon call, frequency hopping and front panel programming.

Digital Speech Encryptor

The Q-MAC QM4091M Digital Speech Encryptor is optimised for excellent speech clarity and high security over HF radio links. On air tests show the QM4091M performs very well in comparison to other handset and integrated products.

It is able to get through on CCIR Ionospheric simulator (Bad, Moderate and Good conditions) and will synchronise on as little as 10dB S/N ratio.

The QM4091M automatically detects secure speech, making it operator friendly. It can be used with Q- MAC DTMF handset QM4014 allowing selective calling or standard handset QM4016.

Chargers

The QM8021 Fold-Up Solar Panel Charger comprises five solar panels, which fold into a compact canvas pouch. The unit is 10.8W power rated and is supplied with extension cable and connectors. Suits Q-MAC SLA rechargeable batteries.
The QM8022 AC Mains Charger is a compact, desktop unit designed to suit all Q-MAC HF-90M Manpack, MiniPack and Portable packages. The charger features 115/230V AC input, 12 VDC nominal, 2.2A limited current and charging status indicators.
