The first product released by Q-MAC Electronics was the HF-90 transceiver, which still remains unrivalled as the world's smallest and lightest high performance HF radio. Q-MAC's HF-90 received widespread international praise and numerous design awards.
The VHF-90M offers analogue, digital encryption and frequency hopping modes for both voice and data. The unit also offers backwards compatibility to PRC-77 and other similar earlier tactical radios. The VHF-90M is available in portable, vehicle and base station configurations.
In addition to tactical radios, Q-MAC offers a range of complimentary products and accessories, including field data terminals, military workstations, combat helmets and antennas.
The military HF-90M variant offers the same benefits as Q-MAC’s original HF-90 transceiver. In addition, the HF-90M is designed to meet military environmental standards for complete immersion, shock and vibration and in its extreme form, is suitable for tanks and tracked vehicles.

Company Structure & Key Personnel
Q-MAC's management team operates from an office premises Perth, Western Australia. The personnel which make up the management team are responsible for all design and management aspects of the company. All staff at Q-MAC are hand picked for their practical experience, achievement and relevant qualifications.
Jointly, the Directors and Management of Q-MAC have gained valuable design and work experience with companies such as Racal Tacticom (UK), Thales (UK), Harris (USA), Kodak (UK), Poseidon Scientific (Australia) and Barrett Communications (Australia). The Directors and Management hold qualifications and associations in their respective fields of expertise.
Q-MAC's manufacturing requirements are satisfied by approved Australian based production contractors. These contractors are selected on the basis of their stringent quality control procedures and price competitiveness. Combined with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System for productfinishing and testing this in turn provides our customers with superior product reliability and value for money.
